Welcome to Our New Staff Members!

We are so pleased to welcome several wonderful new educators to the CMCH family this year. If you see them on campus, please give them a warm CMCH welcome!

Morah Meital, Darling Ducklings

I’ve always believed that the early years are the most important in shaping who we become. Seeing the world through a child’s eyes, so full of wonder, curiosity, and honesty, deeply inspires me. I wanted to be part of those first discoveries, to help children feel seen, heard, and valued from the very beginning.

From the moment I learned about your school, I felt a strong sense of warmth and belonging. The emphasis on community, kindness, and child-centered learning deeply aligns with my values. I was especially moved by how much care is put into creating a supportive environment for both children and educators.

Morah Alyssa Toney, Blooming Butterflies

I have always been passionate about teaching young children. Working in early childhood education allows me to support children at the most foundational stage of their development. I believe that the relationships and environment we offer in those first years of a child’s life shape not only how children learn but also who they become.

This year, I’m excited to bring a deeper focus on fostering independence and concentration through Practical Life lessons. These activities help children build confidence, care for their environment, and feel a sense of purpose in the classroom.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy painting and anything creative—candle making, heat pressing designs on clothing, creating cards, and using my Cricut machine to make special gifts for friends and family.

Morah Margaret Akintola, Friendly Frogs

I was inspired to work in early childhood education because I have always believed that the early years are the most crucial in shaping a child’s future. One way I love connecting with children in the classroom is through the morning circle time. This gives me a chance to learn more about their feelings, interests, and experiences outside of school.

A fun fact about me is that I love to bake! On the weekends, I enjoy trying out new cookie and cake recipes. My favorite is chocolate chip (of course!).

I was inspired by the school’s dedication to both academic and spiritual growth. I believe this fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

This school year I am especially excited to bring hands-on, sensory-rich learning experiences into the classroom!

Morah Koral Uzan, Friendly Frogs

I love kids, and they fill a special space in my heart. Sometimes when I feel sad or lonely, their joy, humor, and love lift me up. The way they show love to me as their Morah makes me feel like I’ve done something good, and I truly love that feeling.

Outside the classroom, I really enjoy watching sunsets. Whether I’m at the beach or just outside, it brings me a sense of calm and peace.

Morah Caren Simon, Floater:

After many years working with middle school students, I was ready for a new chapter, one where I could help create a safe, joyful space for younger children to explore and grow. With a background in reading instruction, I especially love connecting with children through stories and books. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling and once had the incredible experience of going on a safari. I was drawn to CMCH after hearing wonderful things from friends whose children attended, and now I feel even more connected with my granddaughter, also being a student here. This year, I’m looking forward to visiting multiple classrooms and becoming a warm, familiar presence for all the children throughout their day.

Each team member brings their warmth, experience, and love for Montessori education and Jewish values, creating environments where children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. We’re looking forward to a year full of collaboration, connection, and growth. Thank you for being part of the CMCH family. We can’t wait to embark on this journey together!
