SCHOOL CLOSURE SCHEDULES
The staff at CMCH is here to support you and help facilitate your child(ren)'s continued education throughout this strange time.
Zoom is an application which allows for multiple people to join a video conference. These calls will allow for the students to socialize and maintain their bond as a class. On Shabbos, Shabbat Parties will be hosted by the given Judaic teacher in most classes. Students are encourages to have candles and juice ready. They are also welcome to dress as Shabbos Immas and Abbas.

ONE ON ONE CALLS
Each teacher will call ranging from once to three times a week depending on the class to discuss with parents academic progress, as well as the child's emotional well-being during this strange period of time. Teachers will also ask to speak to the children for one on one interaction and personalized lessons.
Please see below for the prescheduled times teachers will be contacting you. If you are not you child's caregiver during the day, please give us their contact information.
SUGGESTED KINDERGARTEN SCHEDULE
9:00 – 9:30: clean your room (teach your child how to make their bed nicely) Do a sweep of the floor and put stuff in correct places.
Each week teach another skill:
1. Make bed
2. Fold different articles of clothing
3. Hanging clothing on hanger.
9:30 – 9:45: Give tzedakah and Daven with Morahs davening video (coming soon).
9:45 – 10:00: Wash hands, eat snack (say Bracha and Borei Nefashot)
10:00 - 10:15: Morahs Pesach video from that day on whatts app or You tube.
10:15 – 11:45: Work Time.
a. One page of the Hagaddah
b. One worksheet in math or language
c. IXL in math and language
d. read one page of Hebrew reading
e. read 10 minutes in English books.
f. clean up workspace.
11:45 – 12:45: Wash for lunch, help make lunch and eat lunch, and bentch. Then clean up.
12:45 – 1:30: Play outside (we will give outside ideas too!) take a walk, plant some flowers and seeds, water plants and flowers, ride bicycles, play on play equipment, basketball or jumprope, make a hopscotch with chalk…
1:30 – 2:00: Watch video link or do science experiment or activity that Morah Jae or Morah Tanya sent that day.
2:00 – 2:30: Wash hands again… Then clean for Pesach!
Week one: Set up a bathtub with water and cleanser- wash each toy and dry. When all washed- sort all the toys in right buckets.
Week two: clean room for Pesach with Mom. Clean backpack and lunch boxes
Week Three: clean garage with mom
2:30: Another snack!
SUGGESTED SCHEDULE FOR 3'S AND PRE-K
9:00 – 9:30 Clean your room (Teach your child how to make their bed nicely). Do a sweep of the floor and put stuff in correct places

10:00 – Morahs Pesach video from that day on whatts app or You Tube.
10:15 – 11:45 Work Time:
a. one page of the Pesach work
b. One worksheet in math or language
c. IXL for pre-K
d. read one page of Hebrew words or letters
e. read one sheet of English sheets, books, or letters.
f. do a tracing or writing of words and letters.
g. take part of your classes zoom.
11:45 – 12:45 Wash for lunch, help prepare lunch, eat lunch , bentch, and clean up from lunch.
12:45 – 1:30 Play outside (we will give outside ideas too! Plant some flowers or seeds, take a walk, water some plants, ride bicycles, play on play equipment, play ball, jumprope, or make a hopscotch with outside chalk…
1:30 – 2:00 Watch video link of do the science experiment or activity from Morah Jae, Tanya, Hiranthi for that day.
2:00 – 2:30 Help clean one thing for pesach (Clean some toys, back pack and lunch box, your drawers in your room.)
Some activity idea inspiration:
1. Make a pattern necklace with fruit loops and string. Then eat it!
2. With Play Dough shape 10 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, next day the English Alpha bet
3. Cut strips of paper straight from one end to the other. Collage them onto another paper with glue.
4. Sink and float activity… wash baby Moshe in the Nile river
5. Wash your car on the outside for Pesach. Wheels included. Clean inside garbage too.
