The Art of a Sweet New Year

Walking through our building this past week has felt like stepping into a Rosh Hashanah gallery, and a bakery, too! The air has been filled with the delicious smells of round challahs, honey cakes, and other sweet treats as every class rolled up their sleeves to bake for the holiday.

Each classroom has been buzzing with creativity as children prepared thoughtful, hands-on projects to bring the sweetness of the New Year home.

While parents may only see the projects their own child carries home, every class created something special; from apple-print masterpieces to honey-themed crafts, all carefully tucked into festive Rosh Hashanah gift bags. These projects weren’t just art; they were immersive experiences that let children explore holiday symbols with all their senses.

The gift bags are filled with treasures that showcase the joy of learning and the excitement of welcoming a sweet new year. They are a reminder of the creativity happening in every classroom and the love our teachers pour into helping children connect meaningfully with the holidays.

Wishing you a year filled with sweetness, growth, and many more beautiful creations!
