Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!
Dear CMCH Families,
Welcome to another wonderful year at Chaya Mushka Children's House!
Whether this is your very first year with us or your family has called CMCH home for many years, we are honored that you have entrusted us with your greatest blessing; your children.
At the close of every school year, we ask our families and staff to complete an anonymous end-of-year survey. Before anything else, thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts, ideas, encouragement, and honest feedback. Your responses are one of our most valuable planning tools, and many of the improvements you'll see this year began with suggestions from those surveys.
If you didn't have a chance to participate this past year, I encourage you to do so next May. Every response matters. Your feedback helps us celebrate what we're doing well, identify opportunities for growth, and continue building the school our children and families deserve.
One message came through loud and clear in this year's survey responses: what families value most about CMCH isn't simply our curriculum or our beautiful classrooms: it's our people.
Again and again, parents shared that their children felt loved, safe, known, and genuinely excited to come to school. They spoke of teachers who nurtured each child's individuality, administrators who were approachable and supportive, and a community that truly feels like family. Reading those comments was both humbling and inspiring, and I could not be more grateful for the extraordinary team that makes CMCH such a special place each and every day.
At the same time, your feedback also gave us a clear roadmap for improvement.
Many families shared that they would love to see a more integrated general and Judaic environment, more teacher communication, and more creative processes in our art curriculum. Our teachers echoed many of these sentiments, expressing excitement for greater collaboration and continued professional growth so they can provide the very best experience for every child.
I'm excited to share that many of these initiatives are already underway.
One of the things I love most about CMCH is that we never believe we've "arrived." Just as we encourage our students to embrace curiosity, perseverance, and growth, we strive to model those same values as a school community. Every year offers a new opportunity to reflect, learn, and become even better than we were the year before.
At CMCH, our mission has always been strong and consistent.
Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your willingness to grow alongside us. We consider it an incredible privilege to play a role in your child's early years, and we never take that responsibility lightly.
As we begin this new school year together, I pray that Hashem blesses each of our children with happiness, health, confidence, and a love of learning. May this be a year filled with meaningful friendships, joyful discoveries, spiritual growth, and countless beautiful moments.
On behalf of our entire CMCH family, welcome back and welcome home.
With warmth and gratitude,
Rebbetzin Dassie New
