The Faces of Our Growing CMCH Family
As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, there is a lot to celebrate about our faculty, including our highest year-to-year staff retention rate yet. But perhaps what feels most special is how our team continues to grow.
This year, we aren't welcoming a single person who is truly "brand new" to CMCH.
Every new member of our faculty was already part of our community before stepping into their new role. Morah Bracha comes to us as a former CMCH parent, Morah Amina spent much of last school year in our classrooms as an ABA therapist, and Morah Sarah joins our faculty as a current CMCH parent.
That feels especially meaningful alongside teachers like Morah Na'Imah, who has been part of CMCH for many years, and Morah Beryl, whose history with CMCH goes back far enough that some of today's parents remember her as a Morah from their own childhoods.
This is the kind of community we hope to build intentionally: one where people don't simply come and go, but grow with us, return to us, and find new ways to be part of CMCH. Our parents become Morahs. Our Morahs grow into new leadership roles. Familiar faces return during new seasons of life. And the people caring for our children are people who already know, understand, and love this community.
A Warm Welcome to Our Newest Morahs
Morah Bracha Albo | Assistant Teacher, Darling Ducklings
Bracha is a wonderful example of our CMCH community coming full circle. After first being part of our school as a CMCH parent, she is returning this year in a new role as an Assistant Teacher in our Darling Ducklings classroom!
Her favorite part of working with children is the hugs and smiles—and getting to watch their confidence grow throughout the year.
Fun fact: Bracha loves cooking, and when she has some extra time, you'll likely find her reading or running.
Morah Amina Muabana | Assistant Teacher, Busy Bees
If Amina already looks familiar, there's a reason! She spent much of last school year working on-site at CMCH as an ABA therapist, becoming part of the rhythm of our school well before officially joining our faculty. This year, we are thrilled to welcome her as an Assistant Teacher in the Busy Bees classroom.
Amina especially loves seeing children happy and smiling and is looking forward to all of the projects, experiences, and special events they'll enjoy this year.
Fun fact: Amina was born in Africa, and outside of school she loves being in nature… especially anywhere near a river, lake, or waterfall!
Morah Sarah Fridman | Assistant Teacher, Little Chickadees
Sarah may be new to our faculty, but she is certainly not new to CMCH! Many of you already know her as a current CMCH parent. This year, she gets to experience our community from a whole new perspective as an Assistant Teacher in the Cheerful Chickadees classroom.
Sarah says her favorite part of working with children is watching them learn, grow, and become more confident each day—and seeing their individual personalities shine.
Fun fact: Sarah speaks both Hebrew and English and loves bringing music, creativity, and lots of positive energy wherever she goes.
We are so happy to officially welcome Morah Bracha, Morah Amina, and Morah Sarah to our faculty and can't wait for our children and families to get to know them in their new roles!
Familiar Faces, New Chapters
Some of the most exciting changes this year aren't new faces at all—they're longtime members of our CMCH family beginning new chapters.
After being part of CMCH since the very beginning, we are incredibly excited for Morah Na'Imah to step into her new role as Lead Teacher of the Friendly Frogs! Na'Imah has grown alongside CMCH, and having someone who knows our children, our families, and our school so deeply move into this leadership role is something very special.
Also taking on an exciting new role this year is Morah Miri! In addition to continuing her work in the Busy Bees classroom, Miri will step into an expanded leadership role as our Curriculum Developer & Event Coordinator. She will help guide curriculum development and consistency across our classrooms while coordinating the special programs and events that bring our school community together. We are so excited to see Miri bring her experience, creativity, and deep understanding of CMCH to this new role.
We are also thrilled to welcome Morah Sherlyn back after having her baby! We missed her and are so happy to have her warmth, experience, and familiar smile back in our halls. She will be returning to the Daisy classroom every afternoon.
And we're welcoming back a true CMCH veteran, Morah Beryl! Most of our current children know her as a beloved substitute or floater, but some of our longtime parents know her simply as Morah because they remember her from their own CMCH days! This year, she will be a regular part of the Butterflies every afternoon.
There is something pretty remarkable about looking around our school and seeing that kind of history. From a Morah who has been here since our earliest days, to one who taught some of today's parents, to parents who have now chosen to become teachers themselves. CMCH isn't just a school community we're building for our children. It's a community people continue choosing to be part of, year after year and in role after role.
We are so grateful for the team stepping into this school year and extend the warmest welcome to each of our Morahs as we begin another joyful year together.
