A Morning of Teamwork, Joy, and Pride

Last Friday, our CMCH families came together for one of the most heart-warming events of the year: Sports Day with Dad. The energy in the CBT Social Hall was electric as our young athletes rotated through exciting activity stations led by their very own dads—our superstar referees and coaches for the morning. From teamwork challenges to playful skill-building, the joy on the children’s faces said it all.

After completing the sports circuit, each child proudly received a special medal, celebrating not just participation, but confidence, courage, and the beautiful bond between parent and child.

We ended the morning gathered together for a big Shabbos party circle. With music filling the room, Levi Chitrik and Avremel Chazanow elevated the atmosphere with soulful singing, guitar, and flute. It was a truly memorable moment—one that blended ruach, family connection, and the spirit of Shabbos so perfectly.

A Huge Thank You:

Events like this don’t “just happen”… they are built with heart, creativity, and teamwork. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made the morning so special:

  • PTA Presidents: Tirtzah Ciment & Sara New — for dreaming up a fresh, fun twist on this beloved event and executing it beautifully.

  • Our Dads / Coaches / Referees: Meir New, Moishe Ciment, and Levi Mogilevsky — for stepping into leadership roles and keeping the stations running with so much enthusiasm.

  • Event Chair: Chaya Lipszyc — for overseeing details with such care and dedication.

  • Fuel Station Bakers: Shifra Sharfstein & Kayla Fine — for the delicious homemade treats that kept our athletes going strong!

Thank you to every dad who joined us, cheered, played, and created unforgettable memories with your children. We are so grateful for your partnership, your presence, and your energy!
